The reunited Finnish death metallers CONVULSE are back together and in the studio working on two new releases: a new EP, which will arrive in November, and a new full-length studio album, which will arrive next year.
In regards to the new material, guitarist/vocalist Rami Jämsä comments:
Our new material has a strong old-school death metal feel to it, and the band is tighter than ever before. When recording, we plan to concentrate on the energy brought on by playing everything live — no triggers or Pro Tools. Nothing beats a well-rehearsed band playing live, be it on stage or in the studio.
The new CONVULSE will be their first type of new material since “Reflections“, which was released back in 1994.
