In the middle of the American film entitled “Network” (1976) there is a scene when the main character Howard Beale (Peter Finch) is making a speech about a social situation in America. This excerpt has been used in many songs as a sample and background to the music. Below we gathered some of them.

MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT – Hate and Heartache, a track from LP “Quietly” [2008].

MAYBESHEWILL – “Not For Want Of Trying”, a track from LP entitled “Not for Want of Trying” [2008]

EYES LIKE MIRRORS – “A Forked Tongue Cuts Like A Knife”, a track from EP entitled “Crusades” [2008].

WOBURN HOUSE – “Oil”, a track from EP “Monstrous Manoeuvres In The Mushroom Maze” [2009].

WE MADE GOD – “II”, a track from LP entitled “It’s Getting Colder” [2011].
