Dutch alternative rock band EL FATSO have released their fresh single and video Ketama on all available streaming services. The song is a forerunner of their new EP Rock ‘n’ Roffa which will land in the first half of 2021.
Comments the band: “Ketama is about the search for an individual identity in a time when people are increasingly thinking in boxes and within frames. It’s about trying to break free from this narrow-minded group which easily categorizes people based on race, or gender. The song contains energetic and catchy verses followed by a thick “in your face” sound in the choruses.
The single comes with a POV video clip in which you follow several people. One of them portrays a victim, but will he be able to stand up for himself?’’
El Fatso sounds like a hot and messy one night stand between Mr. Stonerrock and Ms. Pop. Falsetto vocals, crooked guitars and sweaty grooves form the ingredients for their signature sound, which they call Rock ‘n’ Roffa. Their songs demand you to move that ol’ body of yours around, in whatever way possible and absolutely own it while doing so.
EL FATSO is a Dutch alternative rock band based in Rotterdam. They won the Audience Award at the Eendracht Festival 7.0 and their first single Rodion was the most listened to song on Reddit by that time. In 2018 they played in Rotown and toured the Spanish Costa Blanca. The release show from their debut EP (February 2019) was completely sold out, moreover they even played in the final of the Nobel Award 2019. In the start of 2020 they had a chance to support Ten Times a Million. They recently had a successful release of their single Thirsty also from upcoming EP Rock ‘n’ Roffa. Ketama is the second single being released from the EP.
