Over two years after their official presentation in our pages, Romanian experimental post hardcore math rockers BASTOS are back with an excellent new record, their first proper full length called “Second Favourite Person”. The record is really amazing and there’s not a second that feels irrelevant, making all 8 tracks an uncompromising and effortless genre-bending experiment. “Second Favourite Person” is the smart, twisted post hardcore we need nowadays, an experience that seems like home, and at the same time gets farther away.
