EYES share and aggressive slab of twisted, grooving hardcore on new album “Congratulations”

1 min read

Copenhagen, Denmark avant hardcore quintet EYES welcomes their sophomore album Congratulations, even if there isn’t much to cheer about at the moment.

Congratulations is now available via Indisciplinarian on LP (gatefold, 24-page booklet, 100 copies on Splatter Cake vinyl and 400 copies on Black vinyl) and Cassette (100 copies in a Maltese cross card case), as well CD (4-panel wallet with 6-panel insert, edition of 500) from Nefarious Industries.

Congratulations is a musically visionary and aggressive slab of twisted, grooving hardcore, calling out conspiracy theorists, gentrification, and the older generations fucking over the earth and the young. The album’s ten unpredictably catchy songs were produced by Jacob Bredahl (LLNN, Lifesick a.o.), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and completed with artwork by Jon Gotlev (noheroes.dk).

Tonight EYES celebrates with a sold-out release show in Copenhagen. The band also recently announced a Scandinavian Spring tour including sets at Copenhagen’s A Colossal Weekend festival in May, as well as a performance at this year’s Bloodstock Festival in the UK.
