Facedown Records staff just returned from a trip to Uganda to support the work that was happening through their More Than Sound program which for the last 2 years has been heavily focused on Kaihura, Uganda.

We met up with our friends from Know Think Act and got a tour of all the work happening there in Kaihura, a lot of which has been funded through Facedown and our supporters through More Than Sound! It was a blessing to see first hand the progress happening there to fight poverty, HIV, provide education, orphan care and so much more, all in the name of Jesus. The local organization there is called Bringing Hope To The Family and they are doing an incredible job of showing the love of Jesus there in the community. It’s an honor to be partnered with them and we appreciate all of you who support Facedown and by doing so, are supporting the work through More Than Sound since we give away a portion of all of our profits to these needs. We especially appreciate all of you who have gone above and beyond and given directly to Know Think Act! This means the world to us and we hope we can continue to see this grow. It’s rare to find an organization as transparent and real as Know Think Act, and after seeing the work first hand, we can assure you that your money is making the difference in the lives of people who need it. Let’s keep it going!
Above is a video that we took out at the Bringing Hope To The Family farm. One of the first needs we ever gave to, 2 years ago, was the planting of Matoke (Banana) and Pineapple plants. This video shows how much of an impact that has made. God has blessed their work 10 times there and they are now providing food for the orphanage, the staff and selling some at the local market! This is just one of the many examples of how God is using this organization to fight poverty in their area and show people His love, and we get to be a part of it!
