“I Am Hell” is the brand new video taken from Liverpool four piece FOR EYES’ debut EP “Black” released today with the announcement of their reformation. Made by guitarist Jack McGurran and photographer Victoria Cadisch from old stock footage animation, the video is a perfect representation of the twisted descent into carnie-freak pos hardcore hardcore madness that FOR EYES have become famed for. In their own words they’re “a four piece party machine based in Liverpool playing a knee jerk, bone breaking brand of post hardcore/punk that’ll tear your face off” – we couldn’t have said it better ourselves. The band have also made their debut EP BLACK available for free download at their bandcamp page:
Splitting in 2011 after a controversial series of interpersonal issues resulting in a few black eyes and bruised egos, For Eyes are now reunited and turning their volatile relationship and ADHD stage antics (which spawned their unique style and caused several bloody noses along the way) to more productive ends as they concentrate on writing and recording a brand new EP set for release in 2013. Channeling The Bronx, Hawk Eyes, Gogol Bordello and Skid Row into a fuzzy head-fuck, these boys excel in a sweaty club environment with audiences confronted by scenes of total chaos as front man Dan Kennedy gets his weird on. The faint of heart should stand well back.
Debut EP BLACK was released in 2011 and can be streamed, embedded and downloaded here.
