Andy Freeman, who toured as a guitarist and back up vocalist for THE OFFSPRING in 2008, has resurfaced in a new heavy metal band called LAST IN LINE.

LAST IN LINE is actually a reunion of half of the original DIO lineup, featuring Vivian Campbell on guitar, Jimmy Bain on bass, Vinny Appice on drums and Claude Schnell on keyboards. Reports say Freeman is filling in for the group’s late singer Ronnie James Dio, who died two years ago.

According to BainLAST IN LINE will play live later this year, while Campbell states that a tour take place next year between his activities with DEF LEPPARD.
