Epanding on its regular predecessor’s emotional and visceral approach in thrilling ways, “Vivre Encore”, the newest crossover eperiment from French trio LOREM IPSUM is a progressive opera of unexpected instrumentation and cinematic blends of styles. The record is a remarkable display of the band’s ability to write on both an intimate and emotional scale, blending the two with great ease.
Based on true stories, each title bears the first name of a person who has fought a bodily failure, from physical or psychological illness to the war wounded. This album is a tribute, a mourning, a resentment, an outlet, a journey, illusions … a screamo that goes off the beaten track. We find here an acoustic guitar, a violin and a piano for a unique journey towards our most buried emotions.
“Vivre Encore” marks the band’s seconds album and is available now via Voice Of The Unheard, Sleepy Dog Records, Uproar for Veneration Records, Hell Vice i Vicious Records and Seaside Suicide Records.
