Our frequent guests from Florida, SIGNS OF PROGRESS, join us today to give you their newest single “Count the Bruises”. The song marks the first taste of their upcoming second EP, set to be released in Spring 2022!
“The lyrics are centered around resilience and getting back up again once you’ve been knocked down.” – explains the band.
“During times when it feels like the world is out to get you, it’s important to remember that you are ultimately the narrator of your own life story and any adversities you face are but small chapters of it. We hope this song reaches anyone currently struggling with mental health issues or other hardships to provide some form of comfort or maybe even encouragement to keep persevering.”
The song was recorded, mixed and mastered by Lee Dyess at Earthsound Recording in Valdosta, GA, who also worked with the band on their debut EP Safe Haven back in late 2020.
