Gleemer has dropped their moody new single, “The Body’s Worth,” giving a taste of what’s to come on their upcoming album End of the Nail, which hits December 6th via Other People Records.

The album marks another self-made effort from the duo—Corey Coffman (vocals, guitar) and Charlie O’Neil (guitar, bass, drums). Everything from the production to mixing and mastering took place in Coffman’s Fort Collins, CO studio. The project is made up of 11 tracks that delve deep into their unique blend of shoegaze gloom, atmospheric alternative rock, and indie melodies that draw you in.

“The Body’s Worth” is the second single, following “Half Smile,” and it builds on that introspective mood. The track combines a melancholic vibe with an edge of aggression, featuring Coffman’s signature vocals weaving through layers of textured guitars and rhythms that hit hard.

Talking about the meaning behind the track, Coffman reflects on feelings of disconnection and isolation, saying, “This song explores feelings on the outside of a concrete system of beliefs. How isolation can play into your views, and how it feels to be floating on the perimeter, grappling with what your value is as a person.” It’s heavy in a personal way, grappling with deeper questions of self-worth and place in the world.

You can stream “The Body’s Worth” now, and End of the Nail is up for preorder on vinyl through Other People Records.
