Greek sludgy post metallers ALLOCHIRIA premiere new massive album “Commotion”

April 21, 2023
1 min read

Athens-based post-sludge-metal band Allochiria are teaming up with us today for the release of their highly anticipated third full-length album, “Commotion“, set to drop on April 23rd via Venerate Industries.

With a career spanning over a decade, Allochiria has made a name for themselves in the metal scene with their emotionally charged and heavy sound. Their previous releases, the self-titled EP and full-length albums “Omonoia” (2014) and “Throes” (Art of Propaganda, 2017), have all been met with critical acclaim and have led to the band sharing the stage with renowned acts such as Amenra, Deafheaven, Year of No Light, Altar of Plagues, and Toundra.

Often mentioned alongside the likes of Neurosis, Amenra, ISIS, and Cult of Luna, Allochiria’s music is characterized by its intensity and emotional depth.

The band’s lyrics delve into themes of societal corruption, the struggles of humanity, and the consequences of our actions.

With “Commotion”, Allochiria promises to deliver another powerful and evocative album that will further cement their place as one of the most exciting and innovative bands in the post-sludge-metal genre.
