Metallized hardcore mammoth LAST PENANCE is celebrating the release of the jaw-dropping debut LP with a string of Polish live shows with PALE PATH and SIX STEPS FORWARD and special record release party on October 11th in Warsaw. We asked them about their thoughts on putting out live gigs amidst pandemic and here’s what we got:
Comments the band: “We decided with our friends from Pale Path that we should try to bring live music to people in troubling times. We believe that if we, as well as the audience, take all the necessary precautions, we can have a safe show that will help take people’s minds of the daily grind of pandemic reality.
Our album just dropped on September 21st and it should not be left in the digital space, it needs to be performed in a less controlled environment than the studio.
We love to play shows and it would be a shame not to at least give this tour a try, especially since we will be opening for such an amazing band as Pale Path. I hope that people feel the same way and will join us in Wrocław, Zielona Góra, Szczecin and Łódź. ”
