HASTE THE DAY shares new song & video “Burn”

1 min read

After nearly ten years of silence, HASTE THE DAY is back with their new single “Burn,” marking their return to the melodic metalcore scene.

The track, now accompanied by an official music video, offers a taste of what’s to come from the Indiana-based band.

Vocalist Stephen Keech describes the song as a “metalcore thrasher,” with harmonized guitar melodies, an epic chorus, and a crushing breakdown. Lyrically, “Burn” takes on heavy themes of justice, calling out a system focused on retaliation rather than restoration.

The band’s return to Solid State Records signals more to come, with plans for a new album in 2025.

Fans who have been waiting for new music since 2015’s Coward will finally get to see the band live again this December.

Haste The Day

HASTE THE DAY’s influence on the metalcore and post-hardcore scenes since the early 2000s is undeniable, and with “Burn,” they’re stepping back in, bringing their signature sound with a sharp message.
