Heavy sludge metallers WOJTEK drop new gut-ballasting EP; listen!

1 min read

4 songs born from the boredom and frustration of 2 lockdowns. Violent, direct, yet reasoned and introspective. The newest EP from heavy, grinding sludge metal project WOJTEK digs deeper into the subject of human misery and proves the band is tighter and powerful as ever.

Wojtek is a basic, Polish male name. Wojtek is also a Syrian bear who fought in the Battle of Cassino, during World War II, carrying crates of ammunition and roaring at enemies. Wojtek is also a Paduan band, born in 2019, which plays sludge metal. Wojtek has a philosophy: DIY OR DIE.

The new EP Does This Dream Slow Down, Until It Stops? is out today via Shove Records, Teschio Dischi, Fresh Outbreak Records, Scottish label Ripcord Records and Violence In The Veins from Spain.

Lineup: Mattia Zambon:Vocals | Morgan Zambon: Guitars & Vocals | Riccardo Zulato: Guitars&Vocals | Simone Carraro: Bass&Vocals | Enrico Babolin: Drums&Vocals // Written by Wojtek. Recorded by Enrico Babolin (December 2020, Babunker, Padova – It). Mix & Master: Mattia bonafini. Drawed&printed by Riccardo Zulato, logo by View From The Coffin.
