HOLLOW EARTH have revealed new video “Of Steel and Stone” today via Metal Injection.nTaken from upcoming new album Dead Planet, the song features guest vocals by John Pettibone of HEIRESS and formerly HIMSA and UNDERTOW. The video’s epic nature shots complement the song’s slow, stately momentum. As Metal Injection magazine, who premiered it, puts it, Hollow Earth’s sound is “soaked in heavy, and drips with beauty.” Reference points include the lumbering doom-core of NEUROSIS and the space-rock of Failure. Dead Planet, the followup and conceptual sci-fi sequel to the Parting Remains EP, comes out December 2nd on Good Fight Music. Also making guest appearances are Trevor Strnad of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, and Tad Doyle of Tad. The album was produced by MISERY SIGNALS’ Greg Thomas, and mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering.
