HOLLOW EARTH releasing new EP in late January! New track available!

1 min read

Almost one year after signing with Good Fight Music and just a couple of months after their recent tour with Sedish hardcore bands ANCHOR and OAK, Detroit-area doom n’ gloom-core act HOLLOW EART will release its first new music for its new label on January 29th in the form of the Parting Remains EP! The band will be touring throughout 2016, starting with a spring run with CHURCH TONGUE. Get stoked and check out their new song called “Beyond Celestial Limits”!

Three songs of the band’s apocalyptic, metal-clad hardcore, Parting Remains was recorded by Tad Doyle, leader of O.G. Seattle grungers Tad, and mixed and mastered by Greg Thomas of Misery Signals. Hollow Earth drives forward with a sound that’s both facebreaking and heartbreaking, something like the metallic hardcore of Turmoil set in the ominous war-torn landscpaes of Bolt Thrower.

Hollow Earth’s 2014 full-length, Silent Graves, was named “one of metallic hardcore’s best offerings this year” by Invisible Oranges and hailed as “doom-y metallic hardcore nastiness” by Decibel.

Hollow Earth includes frontman Steve Muczynski and guitarist Mike Moynihan, both ex-members of Shai Hulud.
