The hardcore scene in Indonesia is currently bursting and Otwofive is putting Malang City on the map. Today, the band releases their brutal new Only Death Will Remain EP on DAZE.
The EP is made up of four songs and an EDM meets video game soundtrack intro.
On the release, the band set out to make an absolutely relentless record drawing from bands like 100 Demons, Death Threat, and Cold As Life. The vocals are deep and crushing, the riffs nasty, and you may feel the urgent need to spin-kick whoever is standing next to you. Standout track “A Dead Soul Burn” focuses on unjust hate and judgement (a theme throughout the EP) and delivers in a sick fashion with multiple “vocal bleghs” and a pulsating breakdown.
Otwofive broke out in 2023 with their self-released Victim In Pain EP that currently boasts over 200k streams on Spotify. The band has performed in cities across Indonesia and hope to take their sound new places in 2024.
