‘NO’ is the first single of Sandrés’ upcoming debut album. We first heard it last august 2018 in a demo tape but the band rescued the idea and re-recorded the track with producer Sant García at his legendary Studio Ultramarinos Costa Brava. ‘NO’ has been reimagined in to a video by the bands guitarist, Carles Pons, while on the road on their last tour.
Kick in the door, a blow on the table, and an anger we hadn’t seen in a while. We’re all hooked onto this band formed by Rosa, Stefi, Marc and Carles, known as Sandré, a ill pronounced way of saying ‘Cendrer’ (ashtray in Catalan). That’s their mind-fucking way of doing things. ‘NO’ is everything Sandré represents, a long list of things to hate, things to vomit about. A long list of what we think defines us, but that we are all actually sick of. Their “I HAVEN’T GOT THE TIME” is generational, another reason to be mad.
