Austrian label Numavi Records and Phantom Records are pleased to present the newest music video for “Fünf Finger Rabatt” from F.E.I.D.L., new gritty, post punk infused punk rock act from Vienna. The track comes from the band’s debut self-titled EP, which we’re pleased to tease a bit, revealing its cover art by Bastian Andorfer and additional first-hand commentary from the band.

Comments the band: “We are really happy to have made this record in such a short time with our good friend and sound engineer Werner Thenmayer who made the record sound like how it sounds and as we want it to be. We recorded everything in 2 days after playing only 3 or 4 shows and it’s really great to see what came out. We wanted to make a rough old school punk record with lots of „umpa“ drums, simple but noisy guitars and weird crazy lyrics in our language. All lyrics are about blaming someone for being stupid or us behaving bad and every song is based on some real stories of our funny little drama of life.

All our shows got cancelled. We wanted to go on tour for 2 weeks through Austria and Germany but unfortunately it didn’t happen. Our last show was in March and the next is in September so it’s a really long break especially if you love playing every show you can get. We are writing new songs and try to find time to rehearse. We made a video for 5 Finger Rabatt and released the 7“ inch (at least something cool was happening :D) For the local music scene it was really hard because nobody was really playing live… everyone was doing this streaming thing which isn’t a real alternative to the live thing. Everyone is missing going to shows and see something real happening besides the thing with the money. Its also hard for the venues to survive.

Everyones is recording and releasing because there are no shows. It’s so cool to hear such a lot of new songs from so many bands and people. And what’s really funny is that all musicians are hungry for playing live again. I started a Facebook Post some weeks ago where I wrote „Hey I’m booking a show for Sluff in December! Who wants to play with them?“ And i got so many responses like never before.”
