On February 21st “Tutti Giù – Everybody sometimes falls” the original soundtrack from the film “Tutti Giù”,Locarno International Film Festival selection 2012, directed by Niccolò Castelli, produced by Imagofilm Lugano (Switzerland) and co-produced by RSI (Swiss radio and television broadcasting company) will be released.
The soundtrack was written and performed by KOVLO, one of the most significant Swiss instrumental post-rock bands of the moment, and produced by the award-winning swiss label On The Camper Records. The soundtrack is composed of numerous soundscapes that vary from common atmospheres that create new themes or emotions and meanings emerging from the film.
The band was encouraged by the director to compose joyful, prosporous music, in order to express the desire of life coming from the youngsters but also to compose melancholic and alienated tunes, able to express the lost childhood and the difficulties of growing up and fitting in. The final result is a musical journey of stories and emotions ready to be told even to those listeners who won’t have the chance to watch the film.
