Born in Newtown, CT, Kyle Trocolla grew up listening to everything from his parents 50s rock and roll records to hardcore punk bands like BLACK FLAG and BAD BRAINS. He’s been playing some incarnation of music his entire life. For the past decade he has been touring the United States in the East Coast punk band TWO FIST LAW. Kyle’s debut solo acoustic full length album was released on Altercation Records, on September 18th 2015 and now he has finally revealed a proper visual for his tracl “Three Chords and the Truth”, a song calling to the history and roots of punk rock. A remembrance of those who paved the way for punk rock to be a lasting art form that despite the losses of its founding members will never die.

Lyrics:
For an even older car
Gotta get out of this scene
Before I die young.
Got my friends and I got my girl
Headin’ out to see the whole damn world
Before it becomes the stone that drags me down
So forget all those pop punk songs
That shits been goin’ on way too long, Deedee, Darby Danell are all long gone
So here’s one last punk rock song
For those who paved the way but now are gone
GG, Joey and Thirsk these three chords are for you. We’ll be playing old Misfits songs long after the crowd is gone and the bar breaks down and we can’t drink no more.
A Brohymn for those Prison Bound
Throw Bottles to the ground
We’ll take one last caress and rise above give us one more song from those bands we love.Jim Carroll got of the junk
Sold his diary a poet of punk
His heart gave out and now he lies with his friends who died, died
We got our heroes and you got yours most went down in a ball of flames but we’ll always remember their names.Sid quickly followed after Nancy
John Macias gunned down by the PD
Strummer is gone so is Wendy O
Johnny Thunders played his last show.So here’s one last punk rock song
for those who paved the way but now are gone.
Joey Johnny Deedee and Tommy
These three chords are for you.
