This past weekend, Louisville played host to one of the biggest annual festivals in all of hardcore – LDB Fest. Thousands of hardcore enthusiasts from all around the country descended upon the city for the event, and they were not disappointed. The bill featured some of the most popular and respected names in the hardcore scene, including Knocked Loose, Terror, Drug Church, No Pressure, Sunami, and loads more!
But amid all the chaos and excitement, there was one shining moment that has caught the attention of the internet. During Kublai Khan TX’s set on Saturday, an audience member in a wheelchair was lifted onto the stage by fellow concertgoers and the band’s vocalist Matt Honeycutt. Once on stage, the fan pointed emphatically back to the crowd and then proceeded to stage dive right back into a rather rowdy looking pit, wheelchair and all. It was an inspiring moment of empowerment and inclusivity that has since gone viral.

Videographer hate5six was on hand to capture the action, and the resulting footage has already racked up over 940,000 views since being shared on March 20th.
