LOVE TALK – grunge rockers contemplate self destructive relationships in their new single ‘Her Name Is Jenny’

1 min read

Her Name Is Jenny, the title track for the upcoming May 19th release by Danish grunge rock act LOVE TALK, was inspired by a girl the band met at Roskilde Festival in 2014 and focusses on the blurred lines between obsession and admiration for someone. The track is driven by heavy licks and pulsating beats sounding akin to SILVERCHAIR and L7’s 90s-infused rock, revamped with the unique LOVE TALK touch. Listen below and scroll down to see the band’s upcoming tour dates.

The band consists of Casper Iskov (vocals/guitars), Mathias Risager (vocals/drums), Jens Hyldahl (bass/vocals) and Andreas Frandsen (guitars/vocals). They aim to change people’s perception of new music, offering 90s inspired scuzz-filled riffs both audibly and visually. The band have previously played at Extravaganza Festival in Denmark and with Her Name Is Jenny, the band hope to introduce the UK to their unique blend of cathartic grunge rock.

The band commented:

“It’s about falling for someone you feel completely compatible with but really having NO fucking clue what the hell she wants with or sees in you – a kinda self-destructive falling in love”
