Massive blackened post metallers NORNA streaming new single “The Truther”

Post metal heavyweights NORNA (members from Breach, ØLTEN and The Old Wind) are dropping their new album early next year via Oslo based Vinter Records, and today we’re pleased to share their newest single “The Truther”, a solid sludge hammer that will give you a good idea of what to expect from the full release.

Hailing from the cold north of Sweden and the epic vastness of the Swizz alps, the band consists of Swedish hardcore pioneer Tomas Liljedahl (Breach, The Old Wind) and Swiss underground troopers Christophe Macquat and Marc Theurillat (Ølten). Formed merely a year ago, the three piece is now ready with their debut recording – a thunderous onslaught of bleak, cold and desperate heaviness.

“It’s a special song for us” – comments the band. “Two riffs, repetitive like a mantra, a wounded wild boar that sets the tone for this album”

NORNA

For fans of: AMENRA, Neurosis, Primitive Man and all things heavy.
