Mathcore legends BOTCH reissue final EP An Anthology of Dead Ends, tour dates coming up

Legendary Tacoma-based mathcore/hardcore/metal outfit, Botch, has unveiled the reissue of their monumental final EP,An Anthology of Dead Ends.” This sonic masterpiece will be available on vinyl on October 27, 2023, meticulously remastered from the original 1/2” mix tapes from its initial 2002 release.

The announcement is complemented with the release of a riveting live video of their track “Japam” captured at their reunion show at the iconic Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, WA earlier this year.

Recognized for their groundbreaking fusion of metal, noise, indie rock nuances, and profound depths, Botch’s 2002 record stands as a testament to their unparalleled innovation.

The EP not only serves as a final nod from the band but also as an immortalization of their sonic journey and legacy, showcasing their trailblazing essence that has influenced countless artists in the genre.

For the hardcore aficionados marking their calendars for the reissue, there’s more to the delight. Starting October 5th, Botch will kickstart their first US tour in over two decades, a momentous occasion that fans have eagerly anticipated.

With a lineup of shows set to happen across the country, and with supporting acts ranging from Helms Alee to Converge, the tour promises to be an epic recollection of Botch’s signature energy and raw power.
