Michigan’s own Suffer No Fools, a hardcore band that emerged in late 2021, has inked a deal with the edgy record label Heroes + Martyrs. Joining a blossoming line-up of emerging talent like Hard Feelings and Big Deal, the band adds a unique flair to the label’s repertoire.
Melding hardcore sensibilities with the pulse-pounding rhythms of thrash and speed metal, Suffer No Fools offers a musical experience that’s nothing short of electrifying. Think Leeway meets Anthrax, seasoned with a dash of No Warning, and you’ll start to get the idea.
Already making waves with tracks like “My Fury” and “H Town Beatdown,” the band decided to give these songs a fresh spin. They’ve been remastered and are now available on a flexi-disc, serving as an appetizer for a full-length album that’s in the works. Slated for release in early 2024, the upcoming album promises to be a sonic force to be reckoned with.
When asked about their musical philosophy, the band members shared a powerful statement that captures their rebellious spirit: “Overpower what’s overpowering you, don’t accept the way things are just because the mass majority does. Open your mind, and use it as a god damn weapon.”
Comprising Kyle Donovan on vocals, Tyler Hillman and Logan Sleeman wielding guitars, Nick Erickson on drums, and JJ Kaise on bass, Suffer No Fools has a lineup that promises both energy and depth.
Suffer No Fools has announced upcoming shows on September 23rd at Yoop Fest in Calumet, MI, and on October 27th at The Lode Theater in Houghton, MI.
