4 days after the recent reunion of THE LONG HAUL, the band’s singer Harry Fanshawe pops up with his new post-punk project dubbed MODERN RITUALS! Formed in August 2015, the band have just wrapped up their debut with Mark Jasper of Sound Savers (SLOWCOACHES / WITCHING WAVES) and Lewis Johns of the Ranch (CREEPER / MUNCIE GIRLS) and were so kind to unveil it for all of you lovers of thick riffed, dischordant, multi-layered indie post punk vibes. Despite its edgy immediacy and urgency, the record’s nature seems to be uniquely compelling and calm. With the beautiful art work created by Archie Fitzgerald, these guys have just tied a ribbon on a hell of a work. Contemplate it and listen for yourself.
