1 min read

Time to get hammered a little. Hemiksem, Belgium’s brutal death metal band MOKER has unveiled a brand new track called “Tapetranscription D.P.R.”. It was revealen along with the studio video that can be watched below:

Here’s the full statement released by the band:

Peeps, we’d like to start off by wishing you all the best for 2013! May the new year bring happiness and make all your wishes come true!
Time to let you in on what we’ve been doing lately.

New track online & update on new full-length album

On 01-12-12 Moker checked in at Red Left Hand studio to record a track for their 3th full length album. The new album, which is scheduled to be released somewhere in the second half of 2013 will be recorded at the CCR-studio in Zulte under supervision of Kris Belaen, with whom we also worked on our previous full-length “Total Domination”. It will contain 7 new tracks, as well as 2 older tracks that we’ll re-record in honour of our 10th anniversary.

The new track, titled “Tape Transcription – David Parker Ray” was produced by the skillful hands of Sven Janssens and will be used for promotional purposes. It will also be featured on the new DM.be sampler.

10th anniversary

As mentioned before, 2013 will mark the band’s 10th anniversary. Needless to say we will celebrate this occasion in an appropriate way.

On 07-09-13 we’ll organise a pre-party @ Jeugdcentrum Vizit in Wilrijk with performances of bands we’ve shared the stage with lots of times throughout the years. Acts already confirmed include Bloodshot, Crimson Falls (CD-release party), Johnny Unstoppable, Seqouia Shade, Incinerate and Dahmer…

On 12-10-13, Moker will organize the first edition of “Antwerp Deathfest” @ Hangaar 27 in Edegem. Acts already confirmed include: Pighead (GER), Leng Tch’e (BE), Begging For Incest (GER), Antropofagus (ITA), Cliteater (NL), Serial Butcher (BE) and Moker (BE)

More info, complete line-ups and flyers will be put online soon!

Also, Moker will support Italian death metallers Antropofagus on the following dates:
10-10-13 @ De Witte Non, Hasselt
11-10-13 @ DNA, Brussels

More 2013 show dates to be announced soon.

As you can see, 2013 is lining up to be rather busy for Moker. We hope you’ll like the new track and look forward to sharing more music with you in the months to come!

Take care, and keep it brutal!!
