Umeå, Sweden’s noisy grind hardcore punks LONELY GRAVE are just 10 months after the release of their shattering debut record “Craterface” on Discouraged Records and they already have a new piece coming up! The new offering is being mastered right now and a few weeks ago, a film-maker in Umeå did a VHS/snuff-esque music video for the new track “Once A Martyr”. Filmed entirely on 8mm-cassettes by Thim Riback in Umeå and Vindeln in Västerbotten, Sweden, the video can be seen below! The song is a forerunner of the band’s new 7-track EP engineered, mixed by Erik Lindbergh at Ljudkross studio (MISANTROPIC, NO OMEGA), and slated for a release later this year.
LONELY GRAVE are hitting the road this Friday, with 8 Swedish gigs alongside HM2-act CRAWL (check out the details and the poster by Patrik Tegnander below). A longer tour of Europe will be pursued in august (more details about that later).
