Wild punk’n’rockers PEARS (interviewed for IDIOTEQ in early 2015) have recently premiered a new music video for the song “Green Star”, coming from the band’s latest LP on Fat Wreck Chords, while the band’s vocalist Zach Quinn has unveiled his new solo tune called ‘Infinite Sigh’, appearing on his album, which had received a commentary from Joey Cape of LAGWAGON:
Infinite Sigh’ was the first song of Zach Quinn’s solo acoustic work I heard. I was immediately taken by his ability to write a haunting song that sounds melancholic and uplifting at the same time. It’s difficult to categorize Zach’s music. There is a bit of desperation in his songs and, while being sophisticated and eclectic, in its influences, he is original in his expression with a developed sound of a songwriter twice his age. That is a gift. I think Zach Quinn is someone that simply has to do what he is doing.
