Post-black metal quintet UNDERDARK announce new release, cover THE CURE

September 15, 2020
1 min read

Nottingham, UK based post-black metal quintet UNDERDARK announce a new limited edition cassette single which will include a blackened cover of The Cure’s 1989 classic ‘Plainsong’ and a newly recorded version of original song ‘With Bruised & Bloodied Feet’, to be released on October 30th 2020. This cassette will be a one time only collector’s item released in two variants by Red Nebula Records (US) and Surviving Sounds (EU), strictly limited to 50 copies per label.

Underdark have earned themselves a strong reputation for being one of the most exciting post-black metal forces and live acts in the UK heavy underground, adhering to a strict anti-fascist ethos. This new single release will serve as an introduction to Underdark’s new vocalist Abi Vasquez who joined the band last year.

Pre-orders will be announced soon, with cassettes being sold through each label’s Bandcamp pages.
