REBUILDER – “La Grand Fromage” video

beston melodic punk rockers from REBUILDER have debuted a new music video for their track “La Grand Fromage”, coming from their latest record “Rock & Roll In America” released last Summer via Panic State Records.

Sal (vocals/guitar) had this to say about the song:

“On one of our first tours as a band, we played Atlantic City, New Jersey at a venue called Le Grand Fromage. It’s was a pretty awful show for a number of factors. The promoter went to another better show in town rather than this one, they tried polling the door, the local opener was a jam funk band from Virginia that left right after they played. No one was there to even witness it other than The Record Collection who was on tour with us. Our set was also a disaster and Daniel almost quit the band. He wrote this song because at that moment he wanted to be anywhere but New Jersey.

In actuality, all of our jersey shows after that have been great and we signed to Panic State Records out of Jersey.

We went back to Jersey to shoot this video and try to recapture how much it sucked, but you definitely had to be there to really know.”

2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble participant and Boston Music Award nominee for ‘Punk Artist of the Year’, Rebuilder rips open the preconceived stitches of punk rock to deliver their expansive, mature, and complex sophomore album, Rock & Roll In America. Their debut full-length on Panic State Records, “RNRIA” reinvents the self-proclaimed gnarly rock band’s sonic footprint, transcending the traditional three chord punk progression and showcasing the evolution of the band’s collaborative writing styles. Passionate, stirring and with a ‘never say die’ attitude in the same vein as Frank Turner or Against Me, Rebuilder’s live shows are packed with the resilient emotion of DIY music inspired by the honest truth, the instinctual reaction and the second wind that holds you back from the brink of exhaustion. Rebuilder hit the scene in 2013 and has opened for acts such as The Dropkick Murphys, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Dead Milkmen and Stiff Little Fingers. Rock & Roll In America was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jay Maas of Defeater at Getaway Studios in Haverhill.
