HELLFEST was an American hardcore/punk/metal music festival without barriers, with easy access to the stage, focusing on animal rights, straight edge, vegan. It was cancelled in 2005.
An argument between the festival’s organizer (“Paper Street Music”) and the venue owner (Trenton, NJ) caused the cancellation at the last minute. There was also a controversy regarding the last edition of the fest and Keith Allen, who robbed all of the people who bought tickets and didn’t hand out refunds.
Most of editions of the fest took place in Syracuse, NY, USA, with the 2004 party held in Elizabeth, NJ.
