REFUSED may still be embarking on their reunion tour, but it looks like another breakup of the band is already in the air.
Frontman Dennis Lyxzén wrote the following message on Facebook regarding what’s next for REFUSED:
Basically we just want to play. The response has been overwhelming and we are having such a great time with this. We really wish that we could do more than are actually doing. But we are not that type of band anymore. This is a strange sort of one-off type of deal that is soon coming to an end. But we are really trying to make the most of it while we are here. We never thought that the demand for a bunch of Swedish punks would be this big and we knew from the get-go that it would be impossible to please everyone. But we are working our hardest at it.
The band first called it quits in 1998, the same year they released their iconic album “The Shape of Punk to Come“.

They’ll only break up until they need more cash.
