Hovfot, a musician previously involved with bands such as In the Hearts of Emperors, REKA, CIJADB (Capitalism Is Just Another Dying Breed), and Systemskifte, lost much in life a few years ago, leading to a period of relearning music. After moving to a new part of the world and recovering from injuries that prevented playing music, HOVFOT discovered a new passion for music through a black metal project named “LANDSSORG” and the creation of new intriguing project dubbed HOVFOT.
Unveiled through his debut single “VII”, Hovfot comes as a dark, disturbing, blackened minimalistic drone folk offering that intrigues from the get go.
HOVFOT is now actively seeking live shows, which will be a challenge to reproduce the track’s atmosphere, as well as a proper release of his music.
Currently, HOVFOT is finishing up the second single and video, intending to release three singles before the album.
“HOVFOT” itself is an old Swedish word for the devil, describing the goat’s foot.
