SEVENTH – “The Apostate” video

February 9, 2016
1 min read

Italian post-metal band SEVENTH has debuted a new music video for their song “The Apostate”. The band initially featured only two members: Tum and Maximilian, who recorded their first full length “The Herald” throughout 2015, with the collaboration of drummer Cesco from chaotic math hardcore band ZEIT (featured on IDIOTEQ earlier this year). SEVENTH have a complete new line-up and they are on the verge of booking some shows to promote “The Herald”, which has been out since January 2016 via Sliptrick Records and Rip Roaring Shit Storm Records. Check out the new video, listen to the full album below and stay tuned for a full interview with the band, coming up soon, exclusively on IDIOTEQ!

Breeding cursed snakes in the orchard
Treason to rise standing tall
Stiffed hangman sold to the empire
Path of the soul deprived of its aim

Grand ruins hidden by the desert

Vengeful visions haunt me at night
I shall rule and conquer the sun
From these ruins I will rise
Nimrod, thy will be done

At the gates of Ishtar
I deny the word of God

I am bound to ravage heavens
Myself as the only weapon
“I am the king. Kill them for me!”
I am the son who brings no god
I am the man who brings the flame
