Salt Lake City’s NO SUN have teamed up with IDIOTEQ to premiere a new track off of their upcoming debut EP, to be released on December 5th via Don’t Look Down Records. Started originally as a side project in the winter of 2013 with the release of an acoustic EP, NO SUN spent the summer of 2015 writing and recording their debut EP “Warm” at Soundcave Studios in SLC. They list influences of NIRVANA, AMERICAN FOOTBALL, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, SLOWDIVE, BRAND NEW, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, and you can actually hear that in their eloquent and addictive escape from your daily realness. Hear the new angelic, utterly breathtaking track oozing passion and tell us what you think.
Catch NO SUN performing live at the release party scheduled for December 5th at Diabolical Records in Salt Lake City, Utah with Tacoma”s LO THERE DO I SEE MY BROTHER and local bands CHALK and BIRDWATCHER.
Comments the band: “This song is about trying to use escapism as a means to solve the problems in your life. How you can try and run from them all you can, but at the end of the day, you’re still right where you started, until you face them head on. This is one of the first songs we wrote for this EP, and we’re very excited to finally stream it.”
