It’s been more than a year since Calgary, Alberta based hardcore quartet CITIZEN RAGE released their latest EP “Pink”, but the band still keeps it in the loop. Today, we’re giving you the band’s new music video for the last track from the record called “Silent Army”! Watch above and leave your thoughts in the comments below.
Silent Army is a song about strength in numbers. When people love and respect each other enough to work together and have each others backs, they can change the world. Because of this theme to the song, CITIZEN RAGE decided that the video should include as many of their friends and family members as they could get in front of the camera. It’s a combination of live footage, candid shots, and shots of them with their friends and family screaming their rage straight into your face.
CITIZEN RAGE make their own brand of hardcore, drawing influence from classics like DRI, Madball and Good Riddance, as well as more modern bands like Ignite, Comeback Kid and Get The Shot. On the strength of several western Canadian tours, 5 self released EP’s, the band secured slots on festivals like Armstrong Metal Fest, Loud as Hell, East-Town Get Down, Lethbridge Deathfest and a headline spot at the inaugural Decimate Metal Fest. They’ve already shared stages with DRI, Cro-Mags, Trapped Under Ice, Madball, Revocation and Dayglo Abortion, as well as upcoming show with California’s long-running melodic hardcore band Ignite.
