London based DIY record label Chopstick Records has launched a pre-sale / crowdfunding campaign to reissue “Skilled Rhythm Kills”, the classic grindcore album from Sapporo City Hardcore scene legends SLANG. GO HERE to check it out and support te project!

“We want to reissue this killer album on its 20th anniversary of original release in March 2001 to give a well deserved appreciation to this masterpiece.” – comments the label.

“There will be a total of 500 limited copies of LPs, including all original 13 tracks. This will be the first time that all 13 tracks are available on vinyl. The 13th instrumental song varied from the rest of the album with the industrial feel but beautifully concludes the album as a whole. We feel it is very important to include it.”

“We are closely in touch with the band updating them on every step of the project and make sure they’re happy with the whole concept and cooperation. It’s especially important for us as a new label to set up the values from the very beginning and respect the artists we work with.”
