Sludge grim post metallers MUDBATH streaming new record “Brine Pool”; touring France, Spain and Portugal

1 min read

Saka Čost, GPS Prod, Grains of Sand Records, Troffea Records, and Third-I-Rex have teamed up for a new release from MUDBATH! The French hardcore tinged sludgy, doom post metal act have made a more than promising follow up to their debut record “Corrado Zeller” and it’s available for streaming below. Check it out and catch the band live at their upcoming tour with Michel Anoia.

“Two years after the crushing ‘Corrado Zeller’, Mudbath refine their particular brand of devastation with ‘Brine Pool’, their second album, where the band’s abrasive sludge and thunderous doom are slashed into with onslaughts of black metal and treacherous ambient insurrations. Recorded and mixed by Mathieu “Mouffi” Croux (Verdun, Sofy Major…) and mastered by Collin Jordan (Bongripper, Cough, Xiu Xiu…), this tempestuous record was designed as a think piece, the deafening contours of which draw a vivid portrait of our idle surroundings.”

MUDBTAH is: Flo (guitars), Mika (guitars/vocals), Marco (bass/electronics), Luke (drums/vocals)

Release Details:

– LP: GPS Prod, Grains of Sand Records, Saka Čost, Troffea Records
