Kristian Karlsson, known professionally as producing member in Cult of Luna and pg.lost, has shared his second single “The Heist” with his new solo project subbed SOARS. The music is cinematic and melancholically uplifting, with its foundation in instrumental rock. Debut album “Enfold” delivers emotional soundscapes, driven by powerful drums, combined and layered with ambient textures, guitars and analogue synthesisers.
SOARS was announced in in July this year, and the feedback and comments has been overwhelmingly positive so far, Robert Smith “The Cure” has shown his appreciation of the project and first single “Run” by sharing it on Twitter.
SOARS is a personal journey and expression of a sound that has been developed over the years.
