Washington DC’s grungy garage punk rockers TEEN MORTGAGE are releasing their debut EP, Strange Times, today on Wiener Records, and we’re stoked to share this first listen with you guys. Aptly named “Strange Times”, the record shares the band’s commentary on the strange times of fumbling through your mid twenties while also fumbling through the political/social economical strange times of living in the USA in 2017. Sonically, in an age where lots of bands are constantly looking toward a more futuristic, multifaceted or unconventional sound to portray their style, these guys are a great proof that looking back may be the best bet.
