The main characters of my August 2013 interview, irish street punks rockers from THE HEX BOMBS, are back with a new record! I am extremely happy to bring you 2 new exclusive tracks from their first full length release since 2011’s “Get Back To Work”! The band recently completed a successful tour of the Midwest and East Coast and will hit the road again this fall. They were also part of the extremely successful Midwest Live and Loud in Chicago in May which featured bands such as THE TEMPLARS, BISHOPS GREEN and many more.

These songs definitely represent our newest album “Everything Earned” well. People will recognize our anthemic energy as always on this record, but to date I would say this is our most diverse effort yet!!
The song Everything Earned is written about wanting more out of our lives than just the regular day to day grind. A feeling I think we can all understand!! We are all working class stiffs and are looking for that life worth living. Everything Earned is an ode to all of us out there striving for more for ourselves and our families in the face of what can seem like overwhelming odds.
The Closing is a lovely barroom singalong touching on the subject of over enjoyment of alcohol. A little more mellow of a tune for us and dynamically a cool shift from the fast kick to the nuts we are known for!! This is one of my favorites!!!!!
We have been fortunate in the last months as we have lost a couple members and have been able to bring friends in to replace our departing brothers. The new guys are stepping up and bringing new breath to the Bombs. We continue to move forward getting ready for another tour in late summer early fall time frame, and with any luck, something in Europe soon!!!!! Hope you enjoy the tracks!!!
