South Division Records is pleased to announce the signing of the Tennessee based “garage pop” quintet, THE JOY OF PAINTING.
Formed early 2011, TJOP should appeal to fans of Weezer, Elvis Costello, and The Clash. Their debut EP, “Asterisk” can be heard at http://joyofpainting.bandcamp.com. The band’s first S/D release will be late September of 2012 with a 3 song EP pressed on 7” vinyl.
