Toronto punk rock three piece SIXTEEN SCANDALS release new EP

1 min read

Toronto based punk rock’n’rollers SIXTEEN SCANDALS have debuted a new EP ‘Dorkmanteau’. The record comes out 2 years after their debut full length, featured at this location. The band just played their record release show with TALK SHOW HOST, ska band THE NEFIDOVS, and London punks BAD WORDS, but you can still catch them live at the following stops:

June 11 – Phog Lounge – Windsor, ON
June 30 – Summer Jam – Frontier Ghost Town – Durham, ON
July 21 – Coach Bombay CD release – Smiling Buddha – Toronto, ON

After the release of their full length record Create and Destroy in 2016, Sixteen Scandals holed up in their tiny 10×10 jam space and began stitching together the flesh of a new EP. “We took our love for fast and angsty and our need for hooks and harmony and let a new abomination arise.”

Sweaty nights of unnatural alchemy birthed the unholy beast before you now. The end result is Dorkmanteau, a collection of fist pumping anthems meant to have you bouncing off the walls in your room, shouting out the car window at pedestrians, or convulsing in the pit like a possessed demon.
