2020 marks the return of iconic Italian death-grinders UNDERTAKERS. The band released a new compilation entitled “Dictatorial Democracy” on 30th October 2020 via Time To Kill Records.
“Dictatorial Democracy” features a few brand new songs, old classics from the band’s back catalogue and a couple of acclaimed cover songs: “Fascist Pig”, originally by Suicidal Tendencies, and “Ripetutamente” by Neapolitan band 99 Posse.

Undertakers were born in late 1991. During their career they shared the stage with Napalm Death, Suffocation, Malevolent Creation, Vader, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Fuzztones, Sinister, Dog Eat Dog, Krabathor, Disgorge, Pandemia, Ryker’s and many more (too many to list them all) and have 3 European tours behind them, participation in various editions of the Brutal Assault and Dynamo Open Air
Their style has slowly changed from a classic death metal to an incredible mix of Grind, Brutal and Hardcore.
The brutal-core band Undertakers has been select by 99 Posse as representative of the Italian extreme scene, in a tribute that the BMG wanted to devote to the Neapolitan Posse for the ten years of activity’.
Gli Undertakers nascono alla fine del 1991. Duranre la “loro” carriera hanno diviso il palco con Napalm Death, Suffocation, Malevolent Creation, Vader, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Fuzztones, Sinister, Dog Eat Dog, Krabathor, Disgorge, Pandemia, Ryker’s and many more (troppi per elencarli tutti) e hanno alle spalle 3 tour europei , partecipazione a varie edizioni del Brutal Assault e Dynamo Open Air
Il loro stile è cambiato pian piano da un death metal classico fino ad arrivare ad incredibile mix di Grind, Brutal and Hardcore.
Nel 2003 gli Undertakers tornano in studio per incidere 4 nuovi brani per lo split “Noise in Stereo..chaos in Musicae” (Massacro Records).
Sempre nel 2003 la band distorce in chiave grind la song “Ripetutamente” dei partenopei 99Posse, presente su un doppio cd uscito per il decennale della posse napoletana (99REC/BMG).
“Dictatorial Democracy” marks the return to the scene of seminal band Anarco Grind Undertakers; A mix of new and old songs, passing through the various phases of their career which began in 1991. “Dictatorial Democracy“, scheduled on October 30, 2020 by Time To Kill Record (in 3 extra limited Vinyl edition), contains two fundamental covers: “Fascist Pig” by Suicidal Tendencies and the grind reinterpretation of “Ripetutamente”, which marked the collaboration with the Neapolitan band 99 Posse.
