After an awe-inspiring 15 years of blazing trails and dominating stages, Unearth is now institutionalized as a relentless force in heavy metal, standing the test of time with consistently triumphant creative output, tireless road warrior resilience, Blue Collar style workmanship and a resolute determination to deliver the goods.
Like Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Testament and Anthrax before them, Unearth emerged as part of a burgeoning revolution in heavy music but continued to maintain their relevance and mastery of their craft. They’ve resisted and prevailed against changing trends, subcultural fashions and the way music is obtained and distributed with their credibility, integrity and unique persona intact.
Unearth are committed to collaborating on uncharted new heights within their music. No sellout and no letdown for their extremely dedicated fans on the horizon. Newly partnered with eOne (North America), Century Media (Europe), 3 Wise (Australia) and Howling Bull (Japan) Unearth will always steadily maintain and powerfully proclaim their allegiance to the lifestyle, the ethos and the community of heavy metal, both now and forever.SHADOWS FALL
Having released six albums over a 14 year period and climbed to the top of what was respectfully termed the New Wave of American Metal hierarchy, Massachusetts-based quintet Shadows Fall made a deliberate decision. Instead of writing between tours and then quickly recording in order to make a tight deadline, as they’ve done in the past, the band chose to stay off the road for a full year and intently focus on their next album. Their reasons were simple; they wanted to create a full album that not only satisfied all of the band members artistically, but one that would capture Shadows Fall at their best in all their styles and forms. without compromise.
THE ACACIA STRAIN
While it can be said that certain bands ’embody’ an attitude, lifestyle, or belief, Massachusetts’ long standing quartet, THE ACACIA STRAIN, ARE anger. This shines thru now more than ever on their recently released full length entitled “Wormwood”. The bands fourth effort for Prosthetic Records is without a doubt their heaviest, most aggressive and relentless record to date. Start to finish, “Wormwood” is sure to both impress and strike fear into the hearts of all who dare listen to it.
Those that DID dare to listen were many and immense. The album was the BEST selling record of THE ACACIA STRAIN’s career to date. Wormwood debuted at #67 on Billboard’s Top 200 with first week sales of over 6,0000 copies and combined of over 20,000 units to date and counting. The album entered #21 on Rock album charts, #6 on Independent album charts, #8 on Hard Rock album charts, and #22 on Tastemaker album charts.WAR OF AGES
New Album “Return To Life” In Stores NOW!!!
War of Ages’ fourth studio album Eternal continues the warrior theme for which the band has become very well known. The writing process for the new record was “perfectly timed and provided release on a personal level,” says vocalist Leroy Hamp. With lyrics as heart wrenching as ever, Eternal solidifies the band’s consistent message of victory over pain. War of Ages can easily be pegged as a highly motivated and driven band. Nothing provides more irrefutable proof of their dogged determination than their impressive and extensive touring history which includes playing alongside Terror, As I Lay Dying, Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter, Underoath, Hatebreed, Sick of It All, Throwdown, Earth Crisis, and many others. The band has also had music videos from previous albums featured on Mtv’s Headbangers Ball, a feat which has spurred them on to continue making intriguing, visually exciting videos.
