UNHOLY MAJESTY interviewed by Tight To The Nail

1 min read

Tight To The Nail magazine conducted an interview with another band from the Carry The Weight III fest line-up. Here’s a cool chat with UNHOLY MAJESTY.

Arriving last year from seemingly out of nowhere, fully formed stylistically and aesthetically and with a demo that could strip the flesh from your skeleton, Unholy Majesty are perhaps the closest thing that I can recall to an overnight UKHC sensation. The demo tape sold out within a blink of an eye, and was soon picked up by the esteemed A389 Recordings over in the US of A for a 7″ pressing. This isn’t the fist time around the block for the members of the band though, featuring ex-members of Cold Snap, Age of Kali and Santa Karla, they’ve put in the work over the years, and the reaction is very well deserved. Separated by the Atlantic Ocean since before their demo was originally released, the members of Unholy Majesty are now back in the UK, and preparing for their debut live performance at CTW Fest. We caught up with frontman Daniel Duggan (ex The Break In / Santa Karla vocalist) for an excellent chat about expectation, standing alongside your influences, the state of UKHC and, yep, you guessed it, the pea fritter.
