Pittsburgh’s very melodic ;) metalcore band VOICES & VESSELS are excited to announce their signing with Fort Charter Records. The band will release their follow-up to this spring’s Rebuilder, entitled Those Who Deceive, January 1st, 2013. Check out the official press release below:
Fort Charter’s owner Nathaniel Lay had this to say on the signing, “This is a very exciting time for Fort Charter, having just recently launched with one powerful band off the bat. Now we’re adding our second, and these guys have some amazing plans for the upcoming year. Voices & Vessels are incredibly skilled with a top notch DIY ethic that is going to make them unstoppable. Their new EP is just so good; you just wait to hear it for yourself in January. It will blow you away. These guys definitely have a bright future ahead.”
The band goes on to say, “After thinking long and hard about what decision to make when signing to a label, we felt we were in best hands with Nathaniel at Fort Charter Records. As for plans after our release, we will be hitting the road more frequently.” The band has also released their first single from the release entitled “Relentless Precision” below:
VOICES & VESSELS is a Pittsburgh, PA Post-Hardcore/Electronica band made up of solid friendships and “Do-It-Yourself” attitudes. Forming in December of 2010, the band has worked hard in all of their endeavors to get them to where they are today. In May of 2011, the band self-released an EP entitled Destroyer which the band decided to give away for free to market themselves all across the world. As the band began to make some dents in the music scene, they knew they had to continue progressing. Always keeping busy, the band began to write and record their debut full-length Rebuilder in 2011. The album was recorded with Brette Ciamarra of Studio 344 and mixed/mastered with Drew Fulk of Think Sound Studios. Rebuilder was released on April 24th of 2012.
